Answers to part II of the data sufficiency mini quiz.

Remind yourself what the answers A-E stand for with 1-2-TEN.

Since neither on it's own can answer the question the answer to the question could be C (Together) or E (Neither).

In this case even using both pieces of information together you can't work out whether y is odd.

Therefore the answer is E.
