Rate problems tutorial

Rate problems are a specialized form of GMAT word problem.
Whenever you see a problem that mentions how fast something occurs, whether it is measured in miles per hour, widgets per second or liters per minute, you know that you are facing a rate problem. They will typically involve cars and average speeds, or machines and work rates or swimming pools being filled up.
In this tutorial we will look at examples of rate problems and show you how to solve them. After the tutorial there is a set of practice questions for you to tackle.
You should already have completed the word problems tutorial and fractions tutorial before starting this tutorial.
