Sentence correction questions test you on your knowledge of English grammar and idioms.
This type of question is the easiest, in the verbal section of the GMAT, to improve upon with study and practice.
In this tutorial we will go over some general strategies for sentence correction problems and explore the major types of problems, examining how to identify these problems, and from there how to find the correct answer choice.
There are also 10 sentence correction questions to practice what you have learned.
Sentence correction questions make up roughly a third of the verbal section, so you should expect about 13 or 14 sentence correction questions in the test.
The grammar tested is quite demanding and precise, and therefore even native speakers of English should be prepared to brush up on their grammatical skills.
